

Hold your horses! These are leftovers from Pix. I know what you’re thinking, but I swear I didn’t go back. I did, however, go to Portland’s magical chocolate emporium, Cacao. Whooo, brother. More about that later.
These pretty little things are–from the left–the Caramel Almond Truffle (chocolate caramel ganache with salted Spanish almonds), the Fleur de Sel (salted caramel in dark chocolate; looks remarkably like a Lincoln log, but decidedly less splintery), and the Mendiant (ginger, figs, pistachios, and almonds with fleur de sel and dark chocolate; fruit and nuts = healthy).
